Statement of intent

My Idea

For my final major project i have had many different ideas in which i would like to do. One idea which i am very interested in is set construction photography in which i would build my own set and theme, then photograph it in many different ways. This would take up the 6 weeks in which i have to complete my work and put up as show.

Researching my idea

I have looked at Plymouth university in which they do a project on set construction in the same way i would like to do my own. Looking at different themes i have been very inspired by the beach and the sea as i am now coming into summer and it is a brilliant way to bring out everyone summer spirit. 

Cost 

I am looking at the financial cost of my project and seeing where i may be able to bugdet or get scrap things for free. In this i do not want to make a heavy cost for myself as it may not be able to be funded.

Changing my idea

Once looking at the cost and the time building my set construction by myself i have worked out it may take longer than the time i have set as well as the money i may be able to invest in it myself.

Once looking at everything i have started looking at canon and there website. In the canon website i have seen many different briefs they set people to enter as a competition. Within the canon website i found a brief called "capturing motion" which has captured my eye. In this i have seen many different motion shoots which i would like to produce my self and see how i may be able to capture motion. 

Final Idea 

For my final idea i feel as i may produce a piece in which will show the motion in which people may not be able to see when just looking around. I am going to try and capture this in a way that is at different angles as well as editing.
